Hucknall Next For Posh

Posted on: Wed 18 Jul 2007

Peterborough United continue their preparations for the new season with a trip to non-league Hucknall Town this evening (7.45pm) and the majority of the squad will be given a run-out.

Manager Darren Ferguson is expected to give every fit member of his squad 45 minutes of action with only the injured not travelling to Nottinghamshire. Craig Mackail-Smith is struggling with a groin injury, but it is not serious and he is likely to return to training next week.

Chris Westwood remains a doubt, while Adam Smith and Daniel Blanchett have been ruled out. Hucknall Town are managed by former Posh defender Andy Legg.

Admission prices have been set at £9 for adults, £6 for students and OAP's and £2 for juniors under the age of 16. Theposh.com will have a full match report online with pictures.
