Peterborough United winger Adam Newton and Director of Football Barry Fry were the special guests as Unity FC held their presentation evening in the Caroline Hand Executive Suite on Thursday evening.
The team, which were formed with youngsters from different cultural backgrounds across the city, were successful in a tournament held in Holland during May and the squad collected their medals and of course the impressive trophy during the well-attended event.
Newton was on hand to present the medals while Fry delivered a speech to the players, parents and guests present to congratulate the squad on their tournament success, with the side showing great togetherness to lift the silverware.
Our photographer was on hand to make sure the event was a memorable one for the youngsters and the pictures are available to purchase through www.fcpix.co.uk with shots of Barry and Adam with the squad, as well as individual photographs.

Football in the Community Officer and manager of Unity FC Luke Weston said: 'The Unity FC presentation went very well. All of the squad members were in attendance and it was nice that Adam Newton and Barry Fry could take time out to come along and represent the club.
'The presentation was to bring the lads together and honour their achievements for their tour to Holland. The evening allowed us to look back over the 16-week process and at the end a DVD was shown to highlight how the lads were brought together and how they progressed as a squad.
'The Unity FC project is one that we are proud to be involved in and it is something we want to support for years to come. We continue to grow and develop our partnership with the Peterborough City Council,' Weston said.
