At the Supporters Club AGM on Thursday evening, members and supporters present voted to amalgamate the OSC and Peterborough United Football Club to create 'Forever Posh', the Peterborough United Members Association (PUMA), which will offer excellent benefits including exclusive events throughout the year for Forever Posh members.

Forever Posh will be run by an elected committee and staff at Peterborough United FC and the scheme will be departmentalised at London Road. The football club are initially targeting 1,000 members for 'Forever Posh' with so many benefits for signing up.

Members will receive benefits such as priority tickets for cup fixtures (after season ticket holders). Members will also be eligible to receive discounts on items from club sponsors (to be announced at a later date) and be admitted into the Posh Venue free of charge.



The Venue will be the home of the Members Association and they will be able to sign in one guest per fixture. Members will receive 10% reduction in the Club Shop, discounted away travel including free transport to selected game/s throughout the season including exclusive events. Members will also receive a pin badge and a diary.

Membership fees are £10 for adults and £5 for senior citizens and children aged between 10 and 16. Under 10 membership is free and all youngsters under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult when entering the Posh Venue. Fans are able to join Forever Posh NOW and membership is valid until May 2008.

Elaine Lewis, chairperson of the current Supporters' Club, said: 'This is the start of an exciting venture and we look forward to developing the new Members Association and helping the scheme grow and grow. This decision was presented to the committee and supporters and an unanimous vote was taken about creating the Forever Posh membership scheme.'

Commercial Manager Leigh Porter added: 'This is a positive step in the right direction. It enables the club to have a Members scheme that we want to operate as well as strengthening fan involvement with the football club. We are passionate about interacting with our supporters and running the member's scheme with the committee is an excellent progression. We have listed the basic benefits but we have many targets throughout the season including exciting events and offers exclusively for our members.'

Members schemes are massive successes at many Championship and Premier League clubs and this is a step in the right direction as our aim both on and off the field is to be a hugely successful football club in the higher echelons of the football pyramid.
