Foundation Launches First Posh Kicks

Posted on: Tue 08 Jun 2010

On Saturday 5th June, the Peterborough United Foundation launched The First Posh Kicks at the Voyager school in Walton for three to six year-olds. The morning was hugely successful with 30 youngsters signed up to the 10 week programme. The children took part in an hour long session led by Community Officer Nick Sheppard which consisted of fun based games, aimed at improving the children's fundamental movements, their agility, balance and co-ordination.

Nick Sheppard said: 'The morning was a great success and the children all did really well considering the heat. We concentrated on dribbling this week and were really impressed by the attitude and ability of the children taking part. We are really looking forward to the next nine weeks of the course.'

The official club photographer was in attendance and parents can purchase pictures online at www.theposhpics.com.
