Players Back In Training

Members of the Peterborough United squad returned to pre-season training on Monday (21st June) under the watchful gaze of coaching staff.

Among those involved included Scott Griffiths, Lee Frecklington, Danny Mills, Chris Whelpdale and Dominic Green. Transfer-listed trio Ben Wright, Kwesi Appiah and Sergio Torres, youngsters Carl Piergianni and Nathan Koranteng and goalkeeper James McKeown were also present.

Striker Rene Howe, who was on-loan at Gillingham last season, was put through his paces, while Charlie Lee and Craig Mackail-Smith were at London Road for treatment to minor injuries.

The rest of the squad will return to pre-season training on 28th June.
