Pitch Renovation Work Going Well

The Peterborough United pitch renovation at London Road is going well and groundstaff gave the grass it's first cut on Monday (7th June).

Sportsturf groundsman Paul Currier told theposh.com: 'The work is going well and we were able to give the grass a cut today, which will allow areas of the pitch to thicken out.

'We are feeding the grass every 10 days and the weather over the weekend has helped too. We will continue to work on the surface to ensure it is ready for the first pre-season friendly against West Ham United on Wednesday 14th July.'
