Lewis Completes Clean Sweep

Peterborough United captain Joe Lewis won the foreverposh Player of the Season after the awards ceremoney was held in the Posh Venue on Saturday night.

Lewis pipped George Boyd to the main award with boss Gary Johnson collecting the runner-up prize on his behalf. The Away Travel Award, voted for by supporters using the official coaches, also went to Lewis with Craig Mackail-Smith finishing as runner-up.

The Young Player of the year, with all under 21s eligible for the award, was won by Tommy Rowe. The under 18 award went to youth team captain Carl Piergianni.

The BBC Radio Cambridgeshire Player of the Season was won by Joe Lewis and presented by Edwin Overland, while Lewis also claimed the Posh Trust Community Player of the Year.
