Squad Complete Final Training Session
The Peterborough United squad have finished their training sessions in La Cala and preparations are almost complete ahead of the two pre-season friendly matches against Rochdale and either Marbella FC or the Iran national team on Saturday evening.
Manager Darren Ferguson put the players through a gruelling two-hour training session on the hottest day of the week with temperatures nudging 37 degrees as the squad played six-a-side games on the full size pitch.
The players were also doing plenty of physical exercises including sprinting up a steep hill at the training site. The players have been given Friday night and Saturday morning off, but they are staying on the La Cala complex.
Posh face two matches on Saturday evening, the first 45-minute game is against Rochdale with the winners up against either Marbella or Iran.
