Manager Darren Ferguson, assistant Kevin Russell and Goalkeeping Coach Andy Dibble were joined by Scott Rendell, Chris Whelpdale, Russell Martin and Charlie Lee on the golf course as the squad were given a chance to relax on Wednesday morning.

The management went round as a trio and Russell had a comical start to his round, losing the grip of his club on the first tee, sending the iron flying towards the floor - in fact the club went further than his ball!

Lee was the first competitor to lose his ball, sending his tee-shot wide of the fairway on the third hole of the picturesque course in La Cala. It took the competitors four and a half hours to complete the course.

Several of the rest of the squad travelled to Marbella to do some shopping ahead of the evening game against the Glenn Hoddle Academy.
