Posh Get Hands On Cup!
The Peterborough United squad got their hands on the FA Cup today ahead of the third round tie with Championship side Colchester United this weekend.
The trophy was at London Road as part of the presentation to striker Craig Mackail-Smith who won the Player of the Round for his four goals in the second round tie at Staines Town.
The squad and management team were able to have pictures taken with the trophy while youth team members also got the chance to lift the cup. Defender Chris Westwood gave the trophy a little kiss as he lifted the cup, while boss Darren Ferguson and Director of Football Barry Fry were also given the chance to hold the silverware.
Strikers Mackail-Smith and Aaron Mclean will be hoping to tame the U's as Posh try and cause a cup upset - and it wouldn't be for the first time this season. Posh knocked out Championship side Southampton at London Road in the League Cup.
