Dwight Gayle netted his 11th goal of an excellent personal season as Peterborough United claimed a point at Elland Road against Leeds United in a pulsating Championship clash.
Bobby Olejnik made his first save of the evening on five minutes as Michael Tonge let fly from distance, but it was a routine stop for the shot-stopper.
Dwight Gayle was inches away from the breakthrough on 12 minutes as Ferdinand picked out the striker, but his left-foot shot struck the crossbar before bouncing to safety.
He made no mistake moments later though, GAYLE collecting a pass, running at the centre back before rifling an unstoppable left-foot shot past Kenny and into the top corner.
Tomlin nutmegged Peltier and then embarked on a forceful run, which concluded with a stunning left-foot effort, which was pushed around the post by Kenny.
Byrom and Pearce both went close for the hosts before Kane Ferdinand saw a shot cleared after Kenny had dropped a routine Tomlin centre. Green chipped straight at Olejnik when well placed on 40 minutes.
On the stroke of half-time, Morrison scooped a volley wide of the upright after Rowe had been caught in possession. Leeds made a change at the break with El Hadj Diouf on for Morison.
Gayle had a good opportunity to make it 2-0 on 48 minutes after a clever one-two with Tomlin, but after shrugging off the defender, he fired wide of the near post with his left-foot.
At the other end, Luke Varney headed wide from close-range with Olejnik stranded as Leeds came close to a leveller. The Whites did level the scores on 57 minutes as a corner from the right was prodded home at the back post by Sam BYROM.
Grant McCann replaced Swanson just after the hour mark. McCann curled a free-kick over the bar after Ferdinand had been upended by Warnock. Darren Ferguson made a bold change when he introduced Tyrone Barnett for Ferdinand on 76 minutes.
Bostwick fired a free-kick into the wall, while McCann fired over as Posh pushed forward. Kenny produced a stunning stop to palm over a Gayle pile-driver on 82 minutes. Tomlin floated a free-kick over the bar on 86 minutes.
Varney then poked wide of the near post after cutting inside from the left as the match moved ever close to stoppage time. Austin fired straight at Olejnik in stoppage time before Pearce somehow headed wide when left unmarked six yards from goal.
